SeaWorld to debut water thrill ride in 2023

SeaWorld Entertainment Inc., which may be turning the financial tide, plans to add a new thrill ride at its San Antonio theme park billed as the first of its kind in North America. Catapult Falls, a water flume coaster, is set to debut in the Alamo City in 2023. “Not only will it provide thrills for those wanting the exhilaration of a coaster-type ride, but being a water ride, it will give guests one more way to cool down,” SeaWorld San Antonio President Byron Surrett said in a release.
