Nearly a quarter of Atlanta homes under contract fell through last month

As Atlanta's housing market cools, some would-be buyers are having second thoughts. About 23% of contracts for metro Atlanta home sales were canceled in August, according to a Sept. 26 report from national brokerage firm Redfin Corp. (Nasdaq: RDFN). Nationally, about 15% of contracts were canceled last month.
